Mark Lewisohn's latest book on the Beatles (whose working title is The Beatles: The Complete Story), which is being billed as the definite biography of the group, will be split into three volumes. The first will go from the beginning until December 1962. The second volume will cover from 1963 until 1966/67. The final volume will continue until the early 1970s. The release date for Volume 1 is tentatively scheduled for the fall of 2012.
