Paul McCartney judged Melanie Coe the winner out of four contestants miming to Brenda Lee's "Let's Jump the Broomstick" on an early Beatles TV appearance. Coincidentally, reading about her three years later in the Daily Mirror, Paul would write a song about her called "She's Leaving Home."
